The integrated transit map of Porto aims to encompass various modes of transportation and illustrate the connections between them. The map features all bus routes provided by STCP, along with key routes from other commercial providers.
The map includes approximately 1000 bus and metro stops, offering information on significant points of interest such as hospitals, universities, historical buildings, religious and cultural institutions, parks, etc.
Designed to be printed at an optimal size of A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm), the map is as tall as a six-year-old child. The intention is to display it prominently at major bus, metro, and train stations.
This marks the inaugural edition of the map, constructed amidst various limitations, including data shortages, inconsistent information from different providers, format constraints, and, yet, insufficient research. Additional refinement is needed to finalize the map.
UPDATE: This map was completed in November 2023 and is no longer reliable due to the introduction of the new UNIR network in Porto in December 2023. The UNIR network aims to unite all service providers in the area, resulting in changes to some bus routes and stops, as well as most bus numbers.
